About Us
The
Objectives of Brighton Recreational Centre are:
- To program a diverse range of recreational,
educational, cultural and sporting activities for all age groups in the
local community. This program should reflect the needs of the
local community.
- To provide a safe, friendly and stimulating environment
in which each individual is able to achieve their goals through their
participation in their chosen activity.
- To provide an equitable and inclusive service to all
persons regardless of their skill level or specific interest.
- To adhere to all specific regulations in relation to
the provision of various programs and services.
- To provide and maintain quality facilities and services
consistent with appropriate recognised standards.
- To ensure that no group or individual is permitted to
dominate the facility at the disadvantage or expense of others.
- To promote cost effective activities and to use income
from profitable programs to develop a range of programs and access to
them by all groups in the community.
- To create a Centre which can adapt to the changing
needs of the community thereby enhancing it's viability.
