Brighton Rec will be re-opening!

Further to the State Government’s announcement regarding the easing of restrictions earlier today, please find following information regarding the re-opening of our Centre.

From 9am on Friday 11 June, in line with the updated restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne, the Brighton Recreational Centre will be open and running the following programs:

  • Occasional Care and 3 year old Kinder
  • Children’s Painting and Drawing
  • Children’s Pottery
  • Adult’s Drawing and Sketching and Watercolour painting
  • Adult’s Pottery and All Abilities Pottery
  • Sewing

Masks will still need to be worn when inside the Centre for students 12 years and over, and all patrons, including children, will need to continue to check in with our QR code.

Unfortunately, at this stage we are unable to run any of our gymnastics classes or adult fitness classes as they fall under the category of indoor physical recreation and sport.  Gymnastic classes will continue to be run over Zoom.  Please visit our website for more information about these classes.

We will keep you informed via email and through our website and social media channels for further updates.

We look forward to seeing some of you back at the Centre soon.
