Brighton Rec’s occasional care is the perfect place to have your child cared for, from as little as three hours, to up to 15 hours a week.
Our occasional care program caters for children from as young as 8 weeks up to 5 years of age, and with the ability to book casual or regular sessions, it’s the ideal way to get your kids socialising, while giving you a well-earned break.
With qualified educators, wonderful play spaces both indoors and out, and programs to keep young minds curious and active, it’s the perfect introduction to formal education and care.
Plus, we offer your first session for FREE, to allow you to trial our services to make sure it’s a great fit for you and your child.

How to Book
Complete and email a 2021 Enrolment Form
To enrol into our Occasional Care program, you will first need to complete an Enrolment Form.
Online Bookings

- Click the Check Availability button below.
- Select the Filter Childcare under Program type on the left hand side and Apply to view all Occasional Care places available.
- Select the class you wish to book and follow the prompts to complete your booking. Please ensure that you select the appropriate class relevant to your child’s age (Over 3 or Under 3) and the amount of hours you wish to book (9am-2pm or 9am-12pm).
- An email will be sent to you to confirm your booking.

3 year old Kindergarten
At the Brighton Recreational Centre, our Kinder program provides a diverse range of activities which are both stimulating and fun for the creative and adventurous 3 year old. Staff are fully trained and hold the required qualifications to deliver a high quality education program based on the national quality framework. Enrolments are taken any time during the year once your child turns 3 with bookings and payment on a per term basis. Bookings are essential.

Step 1
To enrol into our 3 year old Kinder program, you will first need to complete an Enrolment Form.
Step 2
Email your completed Enrolment Form and Immunisation Statement from Medicare to enquiries@brightonrec.com.au
Step 3
To book online click on the Book Online button below and follow the prompts to make your booking. Alternatively you can call the Brighton Recreational Centre on 9592 3033 or send an email enquiry below. Payment is required at time of booking.
