20 Mar COVID-19 – Crowd Restrictions for Indoor Spaces
In response to the Government’s most recent announcement regarding new crowd restrictions of “four square metres per person in an enclosed space”, the Brighton Recreational Centre will be adopting the following measures to ensure that we abide by these guidelines and continue to protect the safety of our patrons.
The Brighton Rec Centre will ensure that we do not exceed the numbers in each of our rooms at the one time as outlined below. This will apply for all classes and programs running at the Centre effective immediately until further advised.
Gymnasium – maximum of 100 people
Fisher Room – maximum of 28 people
Mat Room – maximum of 14 people
Bryson Room – maximum of 11 people
Meeting Room – maximum of 5 people
Squash courts – maximum of 13 people per court
We will also ensure that there are no more than 100 people in the Centre at any one time.
To support these new guidelines, we ask all parents to arrive only a few minutes before the class starts/ends and please abide by the social distancing recommendations of 1.5m between other patrons when you are in the Centre.
Thank you for your cooperation and your continued support of the Brighton Recreational Centre.
