This annual registration fee supports the operations of the Centre and includes personal injury insurance cover for each athlete with
Gymnastics Australia’s National Risk Protection Program.
The fee payable for any new enrolment after the 30th June will be $39.00.
This fee is not refundable in full or in part if the gymnast cancels or relocates during the remainder of the year.

Your membership will autopay via direct debit $59 on the same day, every week. There is an initial commitment of 4 weeks, after which you can cancel at any time online and rejoin at any time without penalty.
No, there is no fee to become a member of Brighton Rec’s Adult Gymnastics program. However, there will be an annual registration fee of $59.00 which covers the Gymnastics Victoria Registration, insurance coverage and equipment levy/upgrades. This fee is payable for a calendar year and expires on December 31. The fee payable for any new enrolment after the 30th June, will be $39.00.

Bookings are available 21 days in advance and up to 1 hour before class starts. To make a booking, click here and follow the below steps:
1) Chose the class that you would like to book into and click the “Book” button.
2) Sign in with your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click ‘forgot my password’ and follow the prompts to reset your password.
New to Brighton Recreational Centre? Click on ‘Create account’ and follow the prompts to add your personal information and create a password.

Each attendance to a class will reduce the balance on the card by one. Only students who have booked into the class within the Mind Body App or by reception staff are to be permitted into the class. Adult Gymnastics pass cards are not transferable. 10 pass cards are valid for 84 days.
We recommend wearing comfortable active wear to classes. No clothing with zips, buttons or pockets. No jewellery or watches. Body piercings should be covered to prevent coming into contact with apparatus. Shoes may not be worn on the gym floor.
A drink bottle and a small bag for belongings.
Our Adult Gymnastic Classes run for 2 hours.
You can cancel a class on the Schedule tab of the Profile screen in the MindBody app or alternatively call the Centre 9592 3033. To receive no penalty, you must cancel your class up to 3 hours prior. Repeat late cancellations may be blocked from booking classes for up to 1 week.
For passcard holders, if you have made a booking, do not attend the class and fail to cancel the class prior to 1 hour, your class pass will have been considered as expended and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit under these circumstances.

Yes, you can cancel your membership after your initial 4-week minimum period and re-join at any time without penalty.
Cancellations can be requested with us directly at any time, or via the Mind Body website here. Terminations are not possible on the MindBody App.
In the event of a class being cancelled, those enrolled will be advised no less than one hour prior to the class. If members are not notified within the above time frame of a cancelled class, 50% of the regular debited amount will be credited to the member’s account.
There are no classes on public holidays. Debit amounts during a weekly period in which there is a public holiday will incur the regular weekly debit amount.
We don’t run classes over the Christmas and New Year period. The Centre will be closed from 1pm on Friday 19 December and re-open for Adult Gymnastics on Monday 12th January. No debiting will occur during the Christmas/New Year closure.
Parking
Free parking is available in our Centre’s car park which is exclusive to Brighton Rec Centre customers. Alternatively, Free Parking is available on Outer Crescent. Time limits apply.
Disabilities
Our centre caters for people of all abilities including designated disability parking, wheelchair accessible, disabled toilets.
Public Transport
Middle Brighton station is a 9 min walk. A bus stop is located near the corner of St Andrews Street and Black Street.
