The course is a comprehensive exploration of the fundamental vocabulary of drawing. Discover new ways of seeing and learn to translate your perceptions onto paper. There will be a focus on gaining a thorough understanding of the foundational elements of observational drawing. Students will delve into the study of line, light and shadow, composition, perspective and proportion . Develop your own individual expression and creativity using various drawing material and techniques whilst enhancing your technical skills. The course is suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.

Note in the final class of each term, students will have the opportunity to work with a Life Drawing Model for gesture and rhythm.
