Pottery Sculpture Workshop with Beata Dorain

Join our talented ceramicist, Beata Dorain, for an immersive Pottery Sculpture Workshop at Brighton Recreational Centre. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore the art of sculpting by carving from a solid cube of clay.

You’ll learn step-by-step techniques, including:

*Shaping using front and side profiles
*45-degree carving for dynamic forms
*Creating the general sculpture shape
*Portioning and hollowing the sculpture
*Joining hollowed sections
*Refining details and applying textures

This workshop is perfect for adults aged 18+ who want to develop their sculptural skills in a supportive, creative environment.
